Leveling the Playing Field for Victims of Injustice

Ricky is the son of a pipefitter and factory worker, and his upbringing has made him passionate about helping workers get the justice they are too frequently denied.

“As a product of a working-class family, standing up for the little guy against major manufacturers or insurance companies was my calling. I believe everyone deserves representation, but, to me, it’s more rewarding to help an individual who has been harmed find justice than ensure a major corporation keeps more of its billions in profits.”

– Ricky LeBlanc

In 2006, Ricky founded and managed his own firm specializing in personal injury and product liability law. Prior to that, he served as an associate at Rodman, Rodman & Sandman, PC for 10 years working on various practice areas, including their large asbestos practice.

Ricky is an accredited attorney through the Office of the General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), which allows him to assist with the preparation, presentation, and prosecution of claims for VA benefits.

While most of Ricky’s time is spent handling asbestos lawsuits, he oversees many different case types at Sokolove Law.

These practice areas include:

Ricky ensures each client receives superior service and, if qualified, is assigned to a legal team that will fight for the best result possible.

Advocacy Work and Giving Back

Ricky also participates in a number of efforts designed to educate the public about asbestos and mesothelioma, a cancer caused by asbestos exposure. He has participated as a runner in the annual Miles for Meso Road Race, which has raised nearly $1 million for mesothelioma research.

Following the tragic events of 9/11, Ricky volunteered for Trial Lawyers Care, an organization founded to help the families and victims of 9/11 by providing them with free legal services.
