About Rae

Rae Theodore is a writer and editor with more than 30 years of experience in legal publishing. She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Pennsylvania State University.

Her writing focuses on a wide range of case types, including:

Before joining the team at LawFirm.com, Rae worked for many years as a staff writer for legal publisher Thomson Reuters, where she learned about different areas of the law and developed a passion for legal research and reporting.

She decided to make a career change to LawFirm.com to help people harmed by dangerous products and negligent acts obtain reliable information and pursue justice.

“After many years of reading court cases about multi-million dollar companies placing profits above decency and hurting innocent families, I became sad and then angry. My work allows me to equip people with the information and resources they need to first protect themselves and then seek legal action, if they wish, and ultimately move forward with their lives.”

Knowledge Is Power

As lead editor at LawFirm.com, Rae brings sharply honed research skills and an ability to explain legal premises and rationale to the American consumer.

She collaborates with a team of hard-working writers, web designers, legal experts, and case managers to provide the latest information on defective products, dangerous drugs, and other practice areas.

Rae believes that knowledge can empower people, especially when they are dealing with a difficult situation and unsure about what to do next.

“When I’ve experienced problems in my life, I’ve wanted timely, accurate information to help me better understand my situation and what I could do to get to a better place. I intend to help make LawFirm.com a place where people can go to access honest, easy-to-read legal information when they need it most.”

Rae is an LBGTQ advocate and writing mentor who lives in Philadelphia with her wife and three rescue cats. When she isn’t reporting for LawFirm.com, she enjoys reading and writing poetry and creative nonfiction and rooting for Penn State and the Phillies.
